A day dedicated to the darker imagination of H.C. Andersen, Icelandic literary heritage, and fantastic storytelling in film and folklore.

14:00 – Premiere: Adorable Humans (2025) + Q&A
A four-part Danish anthology film inspired by some of Andersen’s most haunting horror tales.
16:30 – Panel Talk: H.C. Andersen – From Fairy Tales to Nightmares
A discussion exploring the influence of Icelandic literary heritage on Andersen — and, in turn, how his storytelling has inspired generations of fantasy and horror creators.
19:00 – Closing Ceremony & Awards
Celebration & light refreshments.
21:00 – Festival Closing.
